If you're in danger or sending money right now, call 911. If you lost money or gave out information, also call your local sheriff's non-emergency line (see official numbers) and your bank.

Got a strange call, text, email or knock on the door? Tell us so we can warn your neighbors. We never publish your name.

Email a scam report

Helpful to include

• What they said or wrote (a screenshot is great)
• The phone number, email or website they used
• Your county or town
• The date it happened
• Did they ask for money? How? (gift card, Bitcoin, cash, app)

Please don't send passwords, bank numbers or your Social Security number.
